Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Applicants must meet one of the following nationality conditions:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from a listed country to settle in India permanently
Age Limit
The applicant’s age must be between 20 and 30 years on 1 July 2026.
Candidates must have been born between 2 July 1996 and 1 July 2006. Both dates are included.

Candidates applying for posts other than IT Officer must also have computer knowledge. They should hold a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer operations. Candidates who studied Computer or Information Technology as a subject in school or college may also meet this condition.
IBPS and the participating banks will not accept qualifications that are treated as equivalent unless the notification allows them.

The fee was payable online through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, or UPI. Any bank charges related to the transaction had to be paid by the candidate.
IBPS SO Selection Process
The selection process has three stages:
- Online Preliminary Examination
- Online Main Examination
- Interview
Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination are shortlisted for the Main Examination. Those who meet the Main Examination requirements are called for an Interview.
Preliminary Examination marks are not added to the final merit score. Only Main Examination marks are considered for interview shortlisting and final selection.
The Main Examination and Interview carry weight in an 80:20 ratio. Candidates must score at least 40% in the Interview. The minimum Interview score for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates is 35%.
After the Interview, candidates are provisionally allotted to one of the participating banks. Allotment depends on merit, candidate preference, and the number of available vacancies.

Candidates could complete the online application by following these steps:

- Enter the required basic information to create a provisional registration number and password.

Edit Window
