In addition to the category-wise reservation, six seats in each course are reserved for candidates belonging to the Digboi Legislative Constituency (DLC). Candidates claiming DLC reservation must provide the prescribed residence and voter identity documents.

IOCL Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria
GNM Eligibility
For IOCL GNM Admission 2026, candidates must have passed 10+2 with English and obtained at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination. The qualifying marks are calculated without considering English, although candidates must have passing marks in English.
Candidates from the Science stream are preferred, but Science is not compulsory for GNM admission.

For SC, ST and OBC candidates, the required aggregate is 40%. English is compulsory, and candidates must pass both theory and practical examinations separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates who completed their education through a State Open School or National Institute of Open Schooling with Science and English may also apply.

Internship After the Course
After completing the nursing course, candidates have to undergo a one-year working internship at AOD Hospital or another Indian Oil hospital.
Indian Oil may extend the internship for up to two years. During the internship, the monthly stipend is:

An additional ₹1,000 per month is paid when an intern is posted at another Indian Oil hospital.
