Union Bank Recruitment Details
Post Codes: The recruitment includes General Banking & Officers with Domain Expertise (G01–G19) and Specialist Officer (SO) posts (S01–S108). Candidates are permitted to apply for only one post code.
Cadre & Scale: Vacancies are available in the Manager (MMGS-II), Senior Manager (MMGS-III), Chief Manager (SMGS-IV), Assistant General Manager (SMGS-V), and Deputy General Manager (TEGS-VI) cadres.
Pay Scale: The salary ranges from ₹64,820–₹93,960 for MMGS-II officers to ₹1,40,500–₹1,56,500 for TEGS-VI officers. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), Special Allowance, House Rent/Lease Facility, Leave Fare Concession (LFC), Medical Reimbursement, and other benefits as per bank rules.
Approximate CTC: The estimated annual Cost to Company (CTC) is around ₹21 lakh for MMGS-II, ₹25 lakh for MMGS-III, ₹30 lakh for SMGS-IV, ₹38 lakh for SMGS-V, and ₹47 lakh for TEGS-VI.
Probation: Selected candidates will undergo a two-year probation period from the date of joining.
Service Indemnity Bond: Candidates appointed under G01–G19 must execute a bond of ₹2,00,000, while those selected under S01–S108 must execute a bond of ₹2,50,000. The bond amount will be recoverable if the officer resigns before completing three years of active service.
Place of Posting: Selected officers may be posted at any branch or office of Union Bank of India across India, depending on the bank’s operational requirements.
Exam Centres in Assam: Candidates opting for Assam can choose from the Guwahati and Dibrugarh examination centres.

Note: Out of the 395 vacancies, 19 posts are horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). This includes 5 vacancies for Visually Impaired (VI) candidates, 5 for Hearing Impaired (HI), 7 for Orthopedically Challenged (OC), and 2 for candidates with Intellectual Disabilities (ID), as per the Government of India reservation policy.
Among the advertised posts, the highest number of vacancies are available for Chartered Accountant (Credit) – Scale III (45 posts), followed by General Banking Officer – Scale II (40 posts) and Forex Officer – Scale II (40 posts). Educational Qualification
Educational Qualification: The required qualification varies depending on the post code. Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification from a recognized university or institution, along with the required work experience and professional certifications (where applicable), on or before 10 August 2026.
General Banking Officer, Personal Assistant & Vendor Management (G13–G19): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Certified Fraud Examiner (AML Specialist & Financial Crimes Investigator) (G01–G03): Graduate in any discipline with a valid CFE, CAMS, or Certified Financial Crime Investigator certification.
Project Management Professional (G04–G07): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication, MCA, or M.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) with a PMP or PgMP certification.
AGM Taxation, Ind AS & Capital Planning (G08–G10): Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Disaster Management Professional (G11–G12): BMA, MCA, M.Tech, or M.Sc. in Environment or Disaster Management, or B.E./B.Tech.
Forex Officer (S01–S02): Graduate in any discipline for Scale II. Scale III additionally requires a full-time MBA/PGDBM/PGDM/PGM with specialization in Finance, International Business, or Trade Finance.
IT & Cyber Security (S03–S31): Full-time B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or related disciplines. Certain posts also require certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, CKA, TOGAF-9, VMware VCP-DCV, RHCE, or equivalent.
Chartered Accountant Posts (S32–S80): Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from ICAI. For S80, a CA (First Class) or equivalent qualification is required.
Risk Management Officers (S81–S88): Full-time B.E./B.Tech or CA, or a postgraduate degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Applications, CMA, CS, or MBA (Finance), as prescribed for the respective post.
Law Officer (S89–S92): Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.). Scale V posts also require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Architect (S93–S95): Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with valid registration from the Council of Architecture (CoA).
Civil Engineer, Electrical Officer & Printing Specialist (S96–S104): B.E./B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline. Fire Officer posts require B.E./B.Tech in Fire & Safety Engineering or B.E. (Fire) from NFSC Nagpur, along with the prescribed experience.
Vendor Management Professional – IT (S105–S108): Full-time B.E./B.Tech or MCA from a recognized institution.

Note: There is no reservation for Ex-Servicemen in the Officer cadre under the Union Bank Recruitment 2026. However, eligible Ex-Servicemen are entitled to age relaxation as per the Government of India guidelines.
Candidates belonging to the OBC category who fall under the Creamy Layer, or whose caste is not included in the Central List of OBCs, are not eligible to claim OBC reservation. Such candidates must apply under the Unreserved (General) category and will not be entitled to any reservation benefits applicable to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
