VKNRL School of Nursing GNM Admission Notice 2023: VKNRL School of Nursing is inviting applications for admission into its three-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course for the 2023 session. Only female candidates may apply, and there are 40 available seats.
Basic eligibility requirements include:
10+2 with English and a minimum of 40% on the qualifying exam and English separately from a recognized institution.
10+2 with English and a minimum of 40% marks with a vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC)
A recognised board’s 10+2 with English and at least 40% in the vocational stream of healthcare science is required.
Registered ANM with passing marks
SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5% marks relaxation.
All candidates must be medically fit and meet the age requirement
Age: Minimum 17 years old and maximum 35 years old on 31-12-2023
Reservation:
Applicants within a 10-kilometer radius of Numaligarh Refinery Limited are given 30% of the seats, those from Golaghat District get 30%, and the remaining 40% are available to all candidates on the merit list. Reservation for disabled candidates with a locomotor disability of 40-50% of the lower extremity is 5%. Assam govt regulations regarding seat reservations apply.
Selection Process: Selection is based on marks in the qualifying examination and entrance examination, with a 7% added for Science stream candidates.
