The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET UG Admit Card 2026 on its official website for candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 examination. The admit card was made available on 14 June 2026, while the examination is scheduled to be held on 21 June 2026 at designated test centres across the country.
Candidates who successfully completed the NEET UG 2026 online application process between 8 February and 11 March 2026 can now download their hall ticket by logging in with their Application Number and Password or Date of Birth. Before issuing the admit card, the NTA had already released the Exam City Intimation Slip, allowing candidates to know the city where their examination centre has been allotted.
The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall. Candidates should carefully verify all the details printed on the hall ticket, including their name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, exam centre address, and photograph. They are also advised to read and follow all the examination-day instructions mentioned on the admit card to ensure a smooth and hassle-free examination experience.
NEET UG 2026 Exam Pattern
The NEET UG 2026 exam will have 180 compulsory multiple-choice questions spread across three subjects — Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Physics and Chemistry carry 45 questions each worth 180 marks, while Biology has 90 questions worth 360 marks. Each correct answer earns 4 marks and each wrong answer results in a deduction of 1 mark. Unanswered questions carry no penalty. The exam is conducted in offline mode using an OMR sheet, and candidates must use a blue or black ballpoint pen to mark their responses.
The question paper will be available in 13 languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Candidates who select English will receive the paper in English only. Those who select Hindi or any regional language will receive a bilingual paper — one in the selected language and the other in English.
Details on NEET Admit Card 2026
The NEET UG 2026 admit card will contain several details that candidates should verify carefully after downloading. These include the candidate’s name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, photograph, category, roll number, exam centre name and address, exam date and timing, and other guidelines for the exam day. Documents to Carry on Exam Day
Candidates appearing for the NEET UG 2026 examination must carry all the required documents to the examination centre to avoid any inconvenience. It is mandatory to bring a printed copy of the NEET UG Admit Card 2026 with a postcard-size photograph affixed in the space provided. Along with the admit card, candidates must carry a valid original photo identity proof, such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence, for identity verification.
Candidates should also bring one passport-size photograph, preferably the same as the one uploaded during the online application process, as it may be required for attendance or verification purposes. Those applying under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category must carry their original disability certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
After the examination is completed, candidates are required to drop their admit card in the designated collection box placed outside the examination hall, as instructed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). How to Download NEET Admit Card 2026
Candidates can download the NEET UG 2026 admit card from the official NTA website. Follow the steps given below to download your admit card.
Step 1: Visit the official NEET website at neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “NEET UG 2026 Admit Card” download link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your application number, date of birth (or password), and the security pin displayed on the screen.
Step 4: Click on the Submit button. Your admit card will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Verify all the details printed on the admit card carefully.
Step 6: Download the admit card in PDF format and take a clear printout.
Note: If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it using the “Forgot Password” option on the NEET portal. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number or email. Candidates should keep their application number and password safe throughout the process.
Candidates are advised to take at least two to three printouts of the admit card. In case one is lost or damaged, the extra copies will come in handy. Also, make sure the printed admit card is clear and readable — blurred printouts may cause trouble at the exam centre.
